Hop-on, Hop-off Bus Service to Begin in Kathmandu

Kathmandu: The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) will begin operating a hop-on, hop-off bus service in Kathmandu on Tuesday. The service will connect five UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Narayanhiti Durbar Museum, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath.

The buses will be operated by the NTB in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation. Two electric Sajha buses will be used for the service.

The buses will depart from Lalitpur Metropolitan City and will operate every 30 to 45 minutes. The service will be free for the first few days, after which a fee will be charged.

The hop-on, hop-off bus service is a popular tourist attraction in many cities around the world. It allows visitors to easily and conveniently visit multiple destinations without having to worry about transportation.
